Sonia Pizarro has died at the age of 60, her niece has confirmed.
Lyndah Pizarro revealed her aunt, who was best known for her role on Operation Repo, died in her sleep on Wednesday night.
Lyndah, who was also on the reality TV revealed Sonia died in Arizona, and ex-husband Froylan Tercero also remembered his former wife in a fitting tribute.
He described the reality TV star as a "bad a** chick that kicked some serious a**" in a statement to TMZ.
He added: "She will always have a place in my heart and on my body since I still have her name tattooed on my stomach, Sonia we love you and I will honour you with all the good mementos you have me, thank you and I love you."
Sonia and several of her family members rose to fame on the TruTV series Operation Rep, before Sonia branched out into acting in movies.
In 2009, she starred in Repo Chick, before starring in the spin-off in 2016 titled Operation Repo: Lou's Revenge.
Several years later in 2018, she featured in a movie titled Followed.
Her battles with her health had been well documented in the past.
In 2018, she was hospitalised after having a stroke. The incident left her unable to speak and she had limitations to her basic motor functions in recent years.
It's said that these complications were not linked to her death.
As the news of her death broke, fans flocked to social media to pay their respects.
One Twitter user shared a number of images of the star alongside the caption: "Remembering operation repo, Sonia Pizarro."
Another wrote: "May she rest in peace. I enjoyed watching her on the show."
And a third simply said: "Damn rip."
Sonia leaves behind her three kids, Ruby, Robert and Froylan Jr.
