OnlyFans model converts builder's van into home and makes £4,000 a month

An OnlyFans model picked up her tools to conevret a 2019 builder's van into a mobile palace ad now makes £4,000 a month with her travel and modelling content. Honour May Spencer, 26, converted the old Mercedes Sprint into what she describes as an “attention-grabbing high-class studio apartment on wheels”.

Honour did all the work herself, including insulating, wiring, plumbing and tiling the shower, and now travels around the UK creating content for her OnlyFans and “Girls That Travel” Instagram and YouTube account - which nets her £4,000-a-month.

Honour used YouTube videos to learn a completely new set of skills needed for the conversion project. She told The Mirror: "It was just a shell when I bought it back in November 2020. I’ve done everything myself from insulating it, putting in a vapour barrier to making it into a home with a full tiled bathroom and dining area.

"It even has a full-sized wardrobe and storage for almost all of my high heels. And I have a lot of shoes.

"I even put in skirting boarding and decorative trim to make it look and feel like a high-class London apartment."

As well as a shower and kitchen with a full-sized gas cooker, Honour has a seating area which converts into a super king-size bed that she shares with her two working cocker-spaniels Marcia, three, and eight-month-old puppy Marie.

Honour was attracted to the unconventional lifestyle after having to work seven day weeks as a model, cam girl and adult performer for years on end to keep up her high-end lifestyle.

She explained that it had a tragic effect on her relationships and mental health pushing her to make a drastic change. Despite earning around £120,000-a-year and living in a luxury sea view villa in Brighton, the 26-year-old said it didn’t make her happy because she had no time to enjoy it.

She admitted to only having spent around nine full weeks at home in 2019 as she was constantly travelling. Determined to work to live instead of the other way round, she decided to jump in at the deep end and bought her first van in November 2020 while the pandemic was in full swing.

But just six months into the conversion her new found freedom was shattered when her part-converted van was stolen from a car park in Leeds along with over £5,000 of solar equipment and batteries awaiting installation.

To rub salt into her wounds, Honour’s insurance claim was rejected because she had listed herself as photographer rather than a model with her insurance company - costing her almost £40,000 and leaving a permanent mark insurance history which raised her premiums to £4,950 a year.

Still determined to live her van life dream, she ploughed another £20,000 into buying a new van and spent a further 12 months and a similar amount converting it into her dream mortgage-free tiny home on wheels.

She added: "I’m all set to leave for Europe in August with my two little dogs. I can’t even begin to describe how excited I am to finally have my dream home and the freedom to enjoy it.

"I’ve had such an emotional journey there has been so many final straw moments in these last two years that so almost made me throw in the towel, give up and say goodbye to my van life dream forever.

"But these last few weeks have shown me that all of my hard work and perseverance has truly paid off. I love my new home so much and wouldn’t change anything about my van life journey.

"The last four weeks have been absolutely phenomenal. The one thing I never expected with how amazingly inclusive the van life community is.

"No matter where you are from, what you do for a living or how much you have spent on your van the van life UK community accepts you.

"Something I have always struggled with in the past due to the prejudice about people working in the adult industry but even over this short amount of time I have made so many new friends. I finally feel I am able to be my true self.

"I’m so lucky to have this opportunity to travel and explore in my van and I’m really looking forward to launching my YouTube channel."
