An OnlyFans star who was been accused of stabbing her boyfriend to death has demanded his corpse be dug up.
Courtney Clenney, 25, also known as Courtney Tailor on social media, was arrested in Hawaii last month and is currently awaiting extradition to Florida.
The influencer will face a second-degree murder charge for the alleged murder of Christian Obumseli, 27, in April.
Frank Prieto, her defence attorney, confirmed that at the time of her arrest she was in a rehab facility in Hawaii for substance abuse and post-traumatic disorder.
She has always denied murder claims that she acted in self-defence.
Her attorney is set to take the stand on August 19 to request on her behalf that Mr Obumseli's body be dug up and inspected by medical experts, the Miami Herald reported.
At the time of her arrest, Mr Prieto said: “I’m completely shocked, especially since we were cooperating with the investigation and offered to voluntarily surrender her if she were charged.
“We look forward to clearing her name in court.”
Clenney allegedly stabbed Mr Obumseli in the chest on April 3 following a fight at their apartment building in Miami.
Neighbours alleged they had a history of domestic disputes.
Mr Prieto claimed that his client Clenney was forced to stab Mr Obumseli after he grabbed her by the throat following weeks of stalking her.
Despite Mr Prieto's claims that Mr Obumseli was initially violent towards Clenney, a friend of the couple claimed that Clenney had been violent against her estranged boyfriend in the past – and video footage released earlier this week showed her allegedly hitting him in a lift.
Ashley Vaughn said: "We’ve seen her hit him. I’ve never seen him hit her."
There was video footage showing Clenney handcuffed and covered in blood in a bra after a fight that resulted in Mr Obumseli being rushed to the hospital before he was confirmed to have died.
Larry Handfield, a lawyer that represents Mr Obumseli’s family said, that the police had visited the couple on at least four occasions for domestic calls and with the victim never being taken into custody or charged.
