OnlyFans ex-police officer says she's a 'scapegoat' for Met Police over Wayne Couzens

A former police officer has claimed she is a scapegoat for the Metropolitan Police - after being accused of failing to properly investigate Wayne Couzens.

Ex-Met Police officer Samantha Lee was accused of not properly investigating evil Couzens over flashing incidents and was found guilty of gross misconduct. A police disciplinary hearing found that Samantha was dishonest about her investigation into evil Couzens over two incidents and she was also found to have lied about her actions when later questioned about the interview.

The misconduct tribunal was in relation to her probe into the killer exposing himself to McDonald's staff in Swanley in Kent, on 14 and 27 February 2021, prior to abducting, raping and murdering Sarah Everard in March 2021.

She quit the force when her OnlyFans profile was discovered by bosses and she had already been given "words of advice" 24 months before when she uploaded a raunchy video on TikTok whilst wearing her uniform.

Samantha Lee opened up about the recent investigation (ITV)

She had said at the time: "I accept now that there was CCTV and that I should have asked more questions about it."

However, she told the tribunal there was nothing she could have done that would have stopped Couzens from kidnapping and murdering Ms Everard. In the hearing, she had added: "I accept that I could have done more around CCTV and evidence gathering, that was errors on my part and I accept that. And as much as I have thought it over and over, I don’t believe that anything I could have done would have changed the tragic outcome of what happened later that day."

Speaking on Good Morning Britain today to hosts Ed Balls and Charlotte Hawkins, she said: "What happened to all the higher up ranks? They should all be looked into regarding the case and what went wrong before this could even happen.

She also discussed her Only Fans account with the GMB hosts (ITV)

"I think a lot of the media has also referred to my new current role on OnlyFans. It's an adult website where people pay a subscription fee to see your photos which are normally more adult content. That's what I do now."

She added: "The investigation process was such a long process. The investigation goes back to the 3rd March, but the investigation officially began on the 10th May 2021. The reason I did this, is that a lot of bullying went on and I was completely isolated at one point. Just the way I was treated was horrendous by the Met Police service as an organisation."
