Katie Price is returning to her topless modelling roots by signing up to explicit content sharing website OnlyFans.
The 43-year-old mother-of-five joins a raft of other stars who have sought fortune on the X-rated site.
The former glamour model has turned to the website – famous for including footage and photos of sex workers – following years of legal struggles.
Having become famous thanks to her days as a topless model back in the 1990s when she was known by her stage name Jordan, Katie should be comfortable being in control of her own image and uploading whatever snaps of videos she creates to the site.
But Katie will have her work cut out for her if she wants to become a top earning content producer on the website as a large number of celebs have already made a name for themselves – as well as millions – by signing up to the explicit website.
Kerry Katona
Kerry Katona and Katie have a long-documented and close friendship – so it is possible the artist formerly known as Jordan was inspired by the ex-Atomic Kitten star to sign up to OnlyFans.
Kindred spirits in many ways – both Kerry, 41, and Katie have suffered high-profile financial woes – the ex-singer claims she made £1 million soon after she started flogging revealing photos of herself via the site.
Despite her most intimate areas being exposed in the images she sells online, Kerry has been unashamed about the success she has enjoyed through the selling of her X-rated snaps – and the fact that it is her teenage daughters who photograph her.
Kerry told followers last year: “And let me tell you something. When I say my daughters, my teenage daughters, take my picture, Lily is 18. And Molly’s 20.”
While her daughters also chimed in to say they didn’t mind being photographers of their mother’s intimate snaps, arguing: “We came out of her bloody vagina! We’ve bloody seen it all!”
Sarah Jayne Dunne
While Katie has been enduring financial hardships for months, she might be glad that she doesn’t have a job to get herself fired from – unlike Sarah Jayne Dunne.
The long-time Hollyoaks actress, 40, was unceremoniously sacked from the Channel 4 soap last year after bosses discovered she was flogging racy snaps on OnlyFans.
Soap chiefs defended their decision to fire the star – who had appeared on the soap since 1996 until her 2021 sacking – saying: “We take our responsibility to our young audience very seriously and therefore the show does not allow any Hollyoaks cast members to be active on certain 18+ websites.”
Sarah herself appears far from upset, however, saying she feels “free” since she was given the boot from the show.
It has also been reported she is enjoying over £7k per week selling her saucy snaps online – with profits one week exploding to £121k within just 48 hours.
Lottie Moss
Kate Moss is world renowned for her career as a supermodel – with her younger sister Lottie seemingly following in her well-heeled footsteps.
But the 24-year-old has since taken a detour from the fashion world to sell erotic and nude photos of herself via the OnlyFans website.
Lottie has defended her decision to share content via the site – where she is said to rake in £70,000 a month.
She said during a podcast last year: “I love that I can just be sexual and free, and post what I wanna post. I take these pictures and my friends take these pictures for me, and that’s what I like more than modelling as well — the fact I get final approval over everything.”
She added: “Everyone thinks modelling is really glamorous, but you get there and it’s these guys who are like 30 taking pictures of girls who are like 16 to 17 years old in their underwear. It’s creepy, it’s weird.”
Bella Thorne
Former Disney star Bella Thorne proved just how easy it is to make a pretty penny with the power of OnlyFans hype – earning a whopping $1 million (£740,000) within 24 hours of signing up to the site.
The 24-year-old American star created a frenzy – and a backlash – when she announced she had signed up to the adult content-friendly service, which she always made clear would not include any nude photos of her.
Sex workers blasted the actress as the claimed OnlyFans seemed to change their policies in response to Bella’s high earning – and argued she had put them out of business.
This prompted Bella to make a grovelling apology – however she hasn’t quit the site and fans can continue to sign up to receive her relatively wholesome content.
While OnlyFans stressed that the changes to their policies had been "in the pipeline for a while" and, denying they made the changes in reaction to Bella's phenomenal success, said in a statement: “Our objective remains to provide the best platform possible for the OnlyFans community. We can confirm that any changes to transaction limits are not based on any one user.”
Black Chyna
US model and occasional reality star Blac Chyna may have thought she hit the jackpot when she made her way into the Kardashian family by getting engaged to multimillionaire Rob and welcomed his child.
But the star is raking in way more money herself after she ended her romance with Rob and launched a titillating side-career as an OnlyFans model.
Blac, 33, charges fans $19.99 (£15) per month for access to her content – and is said to earn an astonishing $20 million (£15 million) per month.
The model and former stripper’s success is coming back to bite her, however, as her ex-fiancé’s sister, Khloe Kardashian, is up in arms about her financial gains.
Khloe reportedly wants Blac to hand over her OnlyFans financial records due to a lawsuit in order to prove the star isn’t suffering on the money front since her relationship with Rob collapsed in 2017.
Tyler Posey
It’s not just the ladies making a tidy profit by selling their racy pics online – Teen Wolf star Tyler Poser has also stripped off and posed in the buff only to sell the snaps via OnlyFans.
The 30-year-old signed up to the site back in September 2020 and is said to earn approximately $64,300 (£47,570) per month from the site – a sizeable increase from the $35,000 (25,900) per episode he used to earn from his supernatural MTV TV series.
Tyler has credited OnlyFans with helping him be more open about his sexuality, telling fans he has bedded men, women and members of the transgender community when quizzed by fans about his bedroom antics away from the intimate content he shares online.
However, some fans fear his explicit output could cost him his career – similar to how Sarah Jayne Dunn’s acting life has been destroyed by her erotic photo journey.
And the star himself has hinted his view on OnlyFans has changed in the year and half since he signed up as he has stated he finds it “mentally draining” to keep creating content for the site.
