A brave Galloways worker managed to go viral on social media after splitting up a fight in Wigan town centre last week. The video showed three men brawling on the floor when the bakery worker stepped in and pulled them apart.
Armed only with an apron and a hair net for protection, the woman pushed a topless man off his grounded opponent and proceeded to dispatch the other. Afterwards she helped the other man to his feet.
The fight video posted on TikTok - which has since been removed - was given a caption saying ‘Only in Wigan’.

This makes reference to the residents of the borough being known for their love of pies and the fact that Galloways are a big producer of them. The fight takes place on Market Place, right in the town centre outside the bakery.
Galloways, more famous for their pies rather than their diplomacy, have stated that they do not expect their staff to put themselves in harm's way. They reported that nobody was hurt in the incident.
A spokeswoman said: “The company policy is that we would never ask, or expect our employees to put themselves at risk in any way.
“We are pleased that the three gentlemen fighting came to their senses and relieved that no-one was seriously hurt.”
