Only 10 footballers are valued at more than €100million (£87m) - and that special group includes multiple transfer targets for Liverpool and Manchester United.
Both Premier League giants are readying themselves for a busy summer transfer window, particularly Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool who look set for what he describes as an "inevitable" rebuild. Meanwhile, Erik ten Hag's United are hoping to add the final pieces to their jigsaw for a proper title charge next season.
Mirror Football understands that Ten Hag is intent on signing No.1 target Harry Kane from Tottenham, but with United potentially under new ownership come July, the Red Devils boss may well make an even bigger splash in the market. As for their arch rivals, Liverpool, Klopp has assured fans that the club will spend - and that could be on some of the world's most expensive players, according to Transfermarkt's valuations.
The footballing database currently lists 10 players who they believe are worthy of breaking €100m barrier if they were to make a move this summer. Top of the pile, rated at €180m (£157m), is Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe, who previously held talks with Liverpool but isn't expected to head to Anfield any time soon.
Someone else who definitely won't be heading to Merseyside is Manchester City striker Erling Haaland, who amid his 42-goal first season at the Etihad Stadium is valued at €170m (£148m) to see him reach second place. Following the Norwegian powerhouse is former Borussia Dortmund team-mate Jude Bellingham and that's where it gets interesting for both Liverpool and United.

Bellingham, still only 19 and tipped to cost €120m (£104m), is approaching the end of his third year at Dortmund and tipped to move on this summer. For a brief period, Liverpool and Real Madrid appeared to be the two frontrunners, but Klopp and co's struggles in 2023 have made it a more open race.
The two Manchester clubs are each hoping to get their hands on the midfield dynamo, who's already one of the first names on the team sheet for Gareth Southgate's England, featuring in two tournament campaigns. Although Bellingham hasn't ruled out the possibility of remaining in Germany, many believe that his future will be the main saga of the upcoming transfer window.
At the same price as the English starlet is Real Madrid's Vinicius Junior, who came of age last season to help Los Blancos record a La Liga and Champions League double with a string of exciting performances and crucial contributions. The Brazilian winger, 22, struggled to replicate that form at the World Cup but there's no doubt that he'll be among the world's elite for years to come.
The same could be said of Bayern Munich ace Jamal Musiala, valued at €110m (£96m). Born in Germany before representing England at youth level - only to switch when it came time to decide his senior allegiance - the attacking midfielder, 20, has been a regular for the Bundesliga champions for two years.
Musiala's value is the same as two Premier League hotshots, Bukayo Saka and Phil Foden. Arsenal star Saka is, like Haaland, a contender for PFA Player of the Year as the Gunners battle Foden's City for the league title. Foden hasn't had his best campaign form a personal perspective but has still played a key role for the Citizens across the trio of competitions which they remain in.
Finally, three men are rated as €100m (£87m) players. Real Madrid's Federico Valverde isn't likely to be going anywhere in the near future, nor is Barcelona wonderkid Pedri, who's on course to lift his first La Liga title next month thanks to Barca boasting a 12-point lead with 11 games to go.
Another man surely getting his hands on a league winner's medal is Napoli sensation Victor Osimhen. Believed to be United's backup to Kane, the Nigerian striker has scored a total of 25 goals in 29 games this term as his Serie A side are the clear favourites to win their first Italian crown in 33 years.
Napoli could demand more than Transfermarkt's value given how important he is to Luciano Spalletti's team, and it'd no-doubt be difficult for the ex-Lille marksman to wave goodbye to Naples after such a memorable triumph. But would the prospect of playing under Ten Hag and leading United back to the top be too good to turn down?
Osimhen has been asked plenty of times about his future and admitted last month that he's dreamt of playing in the Premier League, with Chelsea also understood to be eyeing a big-money transfer swoop. "I think playing in one of the top five leagues in the world is an amazing feeling for me," the 24-year-old declared.
"A lot of people worldwide consider the Premier League as the best and the strongest league but now I'm in one of the best leagues in the world which is the Italian Serie A. I'm working so hard to make sure that I achieve my dream of playing in the Premier League some day but like I said, it's a process and I just want to keep on this momentum and continue to do well."
