The 2024 NFL schedules are out in the world, and the worst team in the league last year is the only one without a primetime game.
The Carolina Panthers went 2-15 last season amid an abysmal campaign and tough start for then-rookie quarterback Bryce Young.
That must’ve had an impact on the NFL schedule makers, as the Panthers didn’t land a game on Sunday night, Monday night or Thursday night this season.
That’s absolutely brutal that 31 teams found a way to land a night game this season in primetime, but the Panthers are on the outside looking in this fall.
Maybe the Panthers will turn things around this season with new coach Dave Canales, but it won’t be happening in primetime right now.
They’d have to be so good this fall to justify a flexing on the schedule to land one now.
Amount of primetime games by team:
6: NYJ, SF, DAL
5: KC, BUF, GB, DET, CIN, BAL, PHI, MIA, LAR
4: HOU, PIT, TB, SEA, ATL, CLE
3: NYG, CHI, LAC, NO
2: MIN, LV, WSH, DEN, JAX
1: IND, NE, ARZ, TEN
0: CAR
Reminder: Primetime for the NFL = game at night.
