Ongoing police incident in Glasgow's Pollokshaws Road as area cordoned off

Police have cordoned off a stretch of Pollokshaws Road in Glasgow's south side as they deal with an ongoing incident.

Officers are standing guard after the busy Glasgow road was taped off this evening, and a helicopter was spotted circling above.

Several police cars were also seen in the area from around 6.30pm this evening (Monday, April 3)

It is believe the incident happened within Queen's Park.

Glasgow Live has contacted Police Scotland for comment.
