After initially landing in China, the OnePlus 13 has now gone global, so you can buy it in many parts of the world.

Highlights of the phone include a gigantic battery, a top-end chipset, and more water resistance than most phones, but there's plenty more here too.

Below then, you'll find everything there is to know about the price, specs, and features of the OnePlus 13, but if you want to know what we think about its real world performance, make sure to check out our full OnePlus 13 review.

Cut to the chase

  • What is it? The latest OnePlus flagship
  • When is it out? Out now
  • How much does it cost? Starts at $899.99 / £899 (around AU$1,450)

  • Out now
  • Starts at $899.99 / £899 (around AU$1,450)

The OnePlus 13 was unveiled on October 31 at an event in China, followed by a global launch in early 2025, and it's now available to buy in the US, the UK, and other regions, though notably not Australia.

It starts at $899.99 / £899 (around AU$1,450), for which you get a model with 256GB of storage and 12GB of RAM, with prices rising to $999.99 / £999 for 512GB of storage and 16GB of RAM.

That makes it a little more expensive than the OnePlus 12, which started at $799.99 / £849.

However, at the time of writing there's a promotion that knocks $100 / £100 off the price of the 16GB model, and you can also get a bonus of at least $100 / £50 off when you trade a device in (if buying the phone direct from OnePlus). So that could take some of the sting out of the standard pricing.

A new design and more water resistance

  • A new design in new colors
  • The screen has an interesting refresh rate technology
  • Both IP68 and IP69 rated

The OnePlus is available in Midnight Ocean (blue), Arctic Dawn (white), and Black Eclipse (black) shades, with the blue one we had in for review having a ‘microfiber vegan’ finish.

The design of the back otherwise looks somewhat similar to the OnePlus 12, but the circular camera block doesn’t extend out to the edge here, and instead there’s a silver or black line running across the rear.

As for the front of the phone, it has tiny curves on all four edges, and a punch-hole camera at the top.

The OnePlus 13 also has both an IP68 and IP69 rating, making it more waterproof than most phones, and it comes in at either 162.9 x 76.5 x 8.9mm and 213g or 162.9 x 76.5 x 8.5mm and 210g, depending on which color you choose.

That's because you're choosing more than just a color, with some having a glass back and others the aforementioned microfiber vegan one.

As for the screen, it has a 6.82-inch 1440 x 3168 AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits, and it's useable when wearing gloves or when wet.

It's a good screen too, with our review declaring this "the best display on any smartphone in terms of color."

The OnePlus 13's screen can also deliver different refresh rates in different sections, so for example static text could be at 10Hz while a video playing elsewhere on the screen could be 120Hz. This is something we haven’t seen from other Android phones, and it might allow for improved battery life.

Finally, the phone has an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint sensor, which should work better than the optical one of its predecessor. Indeed, our OnePlus 13 review stated that it "was a delight, the most responsive I think I’ve ever used."

A mix of old and new cameras

  • It has the same main camera as the OnePlus 12
  • It has two new 50MP snappers

Prior to launch, OnePlus itself confirmed that the OnePlus 13 has a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide with a 120-degree field of view, and a 50MP telephoto snapper, complete with 3x optical zoom, an f/2.6 aperture, optical image stabilization, and a 1/1.95-inch sensor.

The company also said that the OnePlus 13 supports 4K and 60 frames per second video recording, with Dolby Vision.

In any case, that means the ultra-wide and telephoto camera are new, while the 50MP f/1.6 main one and the 32MP front-facing camera are the same as last year.

You can see the kinds of photos they're capable of in the camera samples below.

In all, we were impressed with the cameras, with our OnePlus 13 review concluding that these are "the best cameras for action photos, even at night, and great pics all around" and that "it does more with 3x zoom than some phones managed with 10x zoom."

A top-end chipset and a huge battery

(Image credit: Philip Berne / Future)
  • It has a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset
  • It has a massive 6,000mAh battery

One area where the OnePlus 13 is a big upgrade on its predecessor is the chipset, as it uses the new Snapdragon 8 Elite, which is in hardly any phones yet.

That's paired with a choice of 12GB or 16GB of RAM, and 256GB or 512GB of storage. There is an even higher end 24GB / 1TB model, but this isn't available outside China.

So there's plenty of power here, with our OnePlus 13 review declaring this "the fastest phone you can buy", but the battery is even more exciting, as it has got a massive 6,000mAh capacity, leading to the longest battery life of any phone we've tested.

The OnePlus 13 also charges quickly, at up to 100W wired and 50W wireless – though in the US that wired speed requires a special charger that OnePlus hasn't released yet. Until then you're limited to a still speedy 80W.

Also, while the OnePlus 13 has no magnets in it, the company is selling some special magnetic cases that let you attach MagSafe and Qi2 accessories to it.

Finally, the OnePlus 13 runs Android 15 out of the box, overlaid with the company's OxygenOS 15. We found this to be a great-looking interface, but with less AI than you'll find in some phones.
