One-time Man United transfer target Adrien Rabiot opens up on Juventus future amid Erik ten Hag search

Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot has claimed he is open to renewing his contract at Juventus after a move to Manchester United broke down in the summer.

Erik ten Hag had targeted Rabiot at the beginning of the season after identifying the 27-year-old as a player who could improve the Reds' depleted midfield. The French international was originally seen as a Plan B option after it became apparent that Frenkie de Jong was not going to leave Barcelona.

Despite United officials travelling to Turin to discuss terms with the player's agent and mother Veronique, talks broke down and Ten Hag ended up signing Casemiro instead. The signing of the Brazilian has worked well for the club, even though he plays a very different role to Rabiot.
