The Cleveland Browns have designated starting right guard Wyatt Teller to return to practice.
Teller last played for the Browns in Week 3 against the New York Giants when he injured his knee and was then placed on Injured Reserve. At the time, he was one of the only active Browns offensive linemen the team could rely on to protect the pocket.
After missing his mandatory four games, he now returns to practice and can be a huge help to the rushing attack and the protection of now-starting Quarterback Jameis Winston.
This move comes after a tough loss against the state-rival Cincinnati Bengals, where the offensive line could’ve used his support. The Browns’ top-two quarterbacks were injured in the Week 7 matchup and would’ve possibly benefited from a bolstered offensive line. Nick Chubb and the rest of the running back room could’ve also used his protection after failing to find an opening in the Bengals’ defense.
