'One second' travel hack could slash the cost of your flights

Most of us love the idea of getting away from it all for a while, but in these current times it can be difficult to find the money for a holiday.

There are many tips and tricks to get the best deal, including shopping around, being flexible with dates, and choosing the right time to book. And experts have just revealed a hack that could save you hundreds of pounds on your flights.

They say it takes a second to do, and could make a huge difference.

Proxy network experts Geonode say it is all to do with something called incognito mode, also known as privacy browsing. Using incognito mode, they said, prevents sites from being able to use cookies to track your searches and know your preferences.

This can sometimes result in higher fares when you go back to book that desired flight you might have found earlier. Not only does it work on flights, but also internet purchases as a whole.

So the next time you're shopping, or searching for your next trip abroad, just simply pop your browser into incognito mode.

A spokesperson at Geonode told the ECHO: "This simple trick will enable you to reset this price hike because you would look like another new user on the website. Searches for cheap flights have had an astonishing 5643% increase in searches."
