One person was taken to hospital following a two-vehicle crash in Cramlington.
Emergency crews attended the scene at the Three Horse Shoe Roundabout in Cramlington from around 1.30pm today (April 6). Two cars were found to have collided and two people required medical assistance, with one transferred to hospital for further treatment.
The road was subsequently closed while the casualties were treated and as investigations took place at the scene.

A Northumbria Police spokesman said: Police received a report of a collision at the Three Horse Shoe Roundabout in Cramlington on Wednesday, April 6. At around 1.40pm officers attended the scene where two vehicles had collided.
"Fire service and police remain at the scene to recover the vehicles. It is not believed at this time that there are any serious injuries. Diversions are in place via the A192 towards Morpeth.
A NEAS spokeswoman added: "We received a call at 1.35pm to reports of a road traffic incident on the Three Horse Shoe roundabout, Cramlington. We dispatched one ambulance crew, and one crew from our Hazardous Area Response Team (HART).
One patient was treated and discharged on scene, and another was taken to Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital (NSECH) for further treatment."
The road re-opened at around 4.30pm.
