One person has been taken to hospital after a two-vehicle collision on A69 in Northumberland.
Emergency crews attended the scene on the A69 eastbound in Corbridge following reports of a crash involving two vehicles from approximately 9am this morning (January 17). Two people were found to have sustained non-life threatening injuries in the incident.
One person has since been taken to Hexham General Hospital for further medical assistance. The road was closed by officers at the scene from Northumbria Police while emergency services assisted those affected and worked to remove vehicles from the carriageway.

In addition, while officers were in attendance at the scene, a vehicle was in a collision with a fire engine which was at the scene. The driver is not believed to have suffered life-threatening injuries.
A Northumbria Police spokesperson said: “At 9am today we received reports of a two-vehicle collision on the A69 eastbound in Corbridge.
“Emergency services attended and two people are believed to have suffered injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
“While officers have been in attendance, a vehicle has collided with a fire engine which was at the scene.
“The driver is not believed to have suffered life-threatening injuries.
“The eastbound side of the road is currently closed while emergency services assist those affected and remove vehicles from the carriageway.”
A North East Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 08:59am to a road traffic collision on the A69 Eastbound near Corbridge Interchange.
"We sent two emergency ambulances and one patient was taken to Hexham General."
The A69 Eastbound re-opened from A68 (Stagshaw Roundabout) to A68 (Styford Roundabout) at approximately 12.25 today.
