One person rushed to hospital after car crashes into two lorries on Naas Road

One person was hospitalised following a three-vehicle collision on the Naas Road this morning.

The incident, involving two HGV trucks and a car, happened at 7:45am on the Naas Road in Dublin. Dublin Fire Brigade attended the scene, and it led to temporary lane closures with knock on delays.

A garda spokesman confirmed to Dublin Live that one person was transported to Tallaght Hospital for treatment. It is understood that their injuries are non-life threatening.

A garda spokesman said: "Gardai attended a road traffic collision that occurred at approximately 7:45am on the N7 in the Co Dublin area. One car and two trucks were involved in this collision.

"One person was conveyed to Tallaght University Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. This road is currently re-opened for use."

Dublin Fire Brigade also shared photos from the scene of the crash, which showed smashed glass on the road. They tweeted: "Firefighters and paramedics responded to a three vehicle collision on the Naas Road outbound at J3 CityWest this morning.

"The collision, which involved two HGVs, led to temporary lane closures with knock on delays."

The road has now since re-opened for use.
