One offensive guard for the Eagles in every round of the 2023 NFL Draft

The Eagles are set to retool the offensive line after losing a key contributor and a Pro Bowl-caliber starter in Isaac Suemalo.

The expectation is that former Nebraska center and 2021 second-round pick Cam Jurgens will slide to right guard.

Philadelphia general manager Howie Roseman could decide to draft a more natural fit for the position to compete against Jurgens while adding more depth to the NFL’s most talented position group.

With the NFL draft quickly approaching, we’re looking at one offensive guard in every round of the selection process.

A monster run blocker (6-5, 337 pounds) with excellent size, Torrance is built for the Eagles’ downhill, power-based running attack.

He’d be a plug-and-play guy immediately if Philadelphia chose not to start Cam Jurgens.

Torrence is a massive offensive guard with excellent instincts and plays strength. In pass protection, he can bend his knees and play with balance. He has an immediate anchor and ample space for his quarterback to climb into the pocket.

Torrence started in eleven games this season and was the first Gators offensive guard to be named a Consensus All-American and the 34th in Florida history… Named an All-American by AFCA, Sporting News, AP, FWAA, and Walter Camp, and was named to the AP All-SEC First Team.

A big, physical player, Avila moved to left guard (zero sacks allowed) after spending the prior two years at the center position.

Emil Ekiyor Jr. OG Alabama

Ekiyor was voted first-team All-SEC as a senior, starting 12 of 13 games at his right guard spot.

McClendon Curtis OG Chattanooga

Curtis performed dominant at FCS-level Chattanooga, playing guard spots and left tackle for the Moccs. Thanks to some athletic limitations with foot quickness and balance in space, he’ll be a guard in the NFL.

Brandon Kipper OG Oregon State

In 2022, Parker Played in and started all 13 games, ending his Oregon State career with 45 career starts, which is tied for sixth all-time at OSU. All 45 starts were made consecutively, which is the fourth-longest streak in program history, and he earned All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention.

Tashawn Manning OG Kentucky

A massive offensive guard, Manning can flourish when surrounded by athletic counterparts. Manning is a project and will need to play in a downhill scheme full of gap plays and inside zone runs.
