Brendan Rodgers believes 2024 will go down as "one of the exceptional years in the history of Celtic".
The reigning Scottish Premiership champions have thrashed both St Johnstone and Motherwell 4-0 this week and sit 14 points ahead of second-place Rangers in the league standings.
Celtic have scored an incredible 52 goals from their opening 18 top-flight fixtures, conceding just four times, and remain unbeaten across domestic competitions this season.
That statistic alone is enough to get Rodgers and the Celtic supporters excited, but their busy festive period was made even better with Rangers only managing to draw against Motherwell on Sunday.
Rodgers knows that Celtic are in a very strong position and noted his players desire to maintain their high standards from start to finish as a key factor.

"You have to always give credit to the other team, there is two teams in a game, but I thought from minute one we were outstanding," the Celtic manager told BBC Scotland following the home triumph over struggling St Johnstone.
"From the first to the 94th minute I was so pleased with the level, purely from a mentality perspective. We kept going right to the very end.
"That's the real joy I have, our approach is very systematic, the players know what the demands are and they go in and give everything to produce the performance.
"We're not even at the half way point in the league but what I can say is that when you're in this position, I can only give a huge testament to the players because of the work, the mindset, they know they're in a safe place because they know they can lose games. We ask the players to take risks and if they do we know we can lose games in the right way.
"When you look at all the numbers and stats, this will be one of the exceptional years in the history of Celtic.
"It's great for the supporters, they can see how hard the team is working."
