One of Qatar's biggest buildings has been lit up with a giant Welsh flag and it looks incredible

Doha's skyline has been illuminated by a giant Wales flag ahead of the World Cup.

The Welsh dragon is already a prominent feature throughout Qatar ahead of what will be the country's first appearance at the tournament since 1958.

Giant balls, windmills and building roofs are among the many items to carry flags of the 32 competing nations at Qatar 2022, and the Welsh flag has never looked so great after lighting up the night sky in the Middle East.

Just a stone's throw away from Wales' team hotel, the Commercial Bank in the West Bay region of Doha was glowing as it featured two enormous Welsh flags on the sides of its building.

It will no doubt have caught the eye of Wales' players and coaching staff who will have been able to spot the glorious sight of their nation's flag proudly being beamed on to huge LED display screens just a short distance away from their brand new Delta City Centre hotel.

Around 3,000 members of the Red Wall are expected to pour into Qatar to support Rob Page's men in their first World Cup in 64 years.

Wales kick-start their campaign against the United States of America on Monday before facing Iran and then England in the group stages.
