Two teens and a man were injured in two separate incidents earlier this week.
Merseyside Police confirmed they were called to an altercation between a group of men in Southport on Wednesday, August 17. A man was then found with injuries to his face and hand a short time later. It was then further reported that the man was attacked by a group of men after an altercation in the alleyway between Victory Avenue and Russell Road.
Officers also confirmed that officers received reports of a disturbance in the area of Newton Street at around the same time when a member of the public reported seeing a man being chased by a group of men. Patrols then carried out a search of the area and found an 18-year-old man and a 14-year-old boy who were both found to have suffered minor injuries.

An investigation has now been launched into the two teens being found with injuries. With regards to the first incident, a Merseyside Police spokesperson said: "At around 11.30pm officers were called to a report of an altercation between a group of males in Southport on Wednesday 17 August.
"A man was found by officers with minor injuries to his face and hand on Bispham Road a short time later. It was further reported that the man was attacked by a group of males after an altercation in the alley between Victory Avenue and Russell Road.
"Officers later stopped and searched two teenage boys on Wennington Road who also reported an altercation in the area. No weapons were found by police at the scene."
A Merseyside Police spokesperson said with regards to the second incident: "We are investigating following reports of a disturbance in the area of Newton Street in Southport on Wednesday 17 th August.
"Patrols were called at just before 11.30pm when a member of the public reported seeing a male being chased by a group of males. Patrols carried out a search of the area. An 18-year-old male and a 14-year-old were found to have both suffered minor injuries.
