One Direction to ‘reunite for first time in eight years including Zayn Malik’ on James Corden’s Late Late Show

All five members of One Direction are set to reunite for the first time in eight years on James Corden’s last ever episode of his Late Late Show, according to reports.

The chart-topping boy band – Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik – are tipped to join the late-night talk show host as he bows out on April 27.

According to celebrity gossip site DeuxMoi, all members of One Direction happen to have a break in their schedules around the time of the show.

Tomlinson, 31, is now free as a bird for the final show after cancelling his tour in Asia last week due to “unforeseen circumstances”.

Grammy Award-winning Styles, 29, is not due to return to his tour until May, which would leave him available for the show.

Malik, who recently returned to social media, doesn’t appear to have any commitments around that time.

Meanwhile Payne, 29, has no known bookings until Soccer Aid in June and Horan, 29, has no shows lined-up until May.

One Direction originally shot to fame in 2010 after being put together by Simon Cowell on TV talent show The X Factor.

Malik quit the band in 2015 and just five months later the rest of the group announced that they were going on hiatus and have been concentrating on solo projects ever since.

The Standard has contacted a representative for The Late Late Show for comment.

James Corden has reportedly lined up Adele for the last ever Carpool Karaoke (The Late Late Show)

Elsewhere, Corden has reportedly roped in singer Adele for the last ever instalment of his beloved segment Carpool Karaoke segment.

Adele is no stranger to the singalong, having famously gone for a spin in the car in London before her move to LA in 2016.

The British star went viral after the segment aired for belting out the Spice Girls and performing Nicki Minaj’s Monster rap, all while downing a mug of tea.
