Amid the allegations that Michigan football employed a “spy” in an attempt to decipher and steal opposing teams’ signals ahead of future matchups, college football fans on social media had a field day with a lone Wolverines fan attending the Big Ten showdown between No. 3 Ohio State and No. 7 Penn State.
It is rather odd to see a fan, dressed in a Michigan jacket, at a game that featured two of the Wolverines’ biggest rivals.
Adding fuel to the fire on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, is that No. 2 Michigan has matchups against both Ohio State and Penn State in November.

While many were likely joking, numerous users posted that the fan was a “spy” for the team, supported by another image showing Ohio State players hiding the coaching boards on the sidelines.
