Steve Cooper’s work at Nottingham Forest is putting him "on the radar" of other clubs, according to one report.
The Welshman has transformed the Reds’ fortunes since replacing Chris Hughton at the City Ground back in September.
Forest were rock-bottom of the table, with one point from their first seven Championship games, when he took charge.
Almost five months later, they are now challenging for promotion - sitting in seventh spot, just two points below sixth-placed Middlesbrough.
Tipping Southampton as one of the teams who could eventually show an interest, journalist Pete O’Rourke told GIVEMESPORT: “I think Steve Cooper is going to be on the radar of several clubs in the Premier League with the work that he’s doing at Nottingham Forest.
“He also did a great job at Swansea, leading them to the play-offs twice during his time there and he obviously had great success with England’s youth teams as well, winning the Under-17s World Cup.
“He is a top quality young manager.”
Cooper has overseen just four defeats from his 25 matches at the helm of the Reds, picking up 14 wins in all competitions.
That record includes seeing off top-flight heavyweights Arsenal and Leicester City in the FA Cup, along with impressive results such as the 4-1 triumph at his former club, Swansea City.
He has also quickly developed a strong bond with Forest fans, regularly praising the support he and his players receive.
After the thumping of the Foxes little more than a week ago, he said: “I did say to the players in the lead-up, we should never get used to what playing at the City Ground gives.
“It’s not going to last in your life forever because, however long you are here, as a player it’s not forever.
“I don’t ever want us to take it for granted.”
