Household names have made top hires and promotions across the North West over the last week.
The likes of On The Beach, In The Style, Bolton Wanderers and KPMG are among those to have made major moves.

On The Beach
A new chief executive of On The Beach has been named after it was announced that its founder is to step down.
Chief financial office Shaun Morton will succeed Simon Cooper when he leaves the role "within the next 12 months".
The Manchester-headquartered company said the timing of Mr Morton's appointment as CEO will depend on when it is able to hire a new CFO.
When he steps down as CEO, Mr Cooper is to remain on the board as a non-executive director.
Mr Morton joined the company in February 2018 and was made CFO in July 2020.
In The Style
In The Style has put itself up for sale as its founder returns as chief executive.
The Salford-headquartered online fashion brand has confirmed Sam Perkins will step down at the end of the year and be succeeded on an interim basis by Adam Frisby.
Mr Perkins had taken over as CEO from Mr Frisby, who had led the business for nine years, in January this year.
He had joined from The Very Group where he has been managing director of its retail division since 2018.
Since stepping down as CEO, Mr Frisby has been the company's chief brand officer.
Bolton Wanderers
Bolton Wanderers have appointed Carl Sanderson and Siobhán Chaplow into the roles of head of business partnerships and chief communications officer, respectively.
Carl Sanderson joins the Whites after spending over 18 years at Burnley Football Club.
Siobhán Chaplow was previously the club’s head of marketing and now widens her role to oversee the full scope of club communications.
Chief executive Neil Hart said: "Both Carl and Siobhán bring a wealth of experience to the club’s commercial and communications departments and we’re delighted to have them on board. They will play a key part in the journey ahead as we continue to strengthen the club’s off-field operations."
KPMG
KPMG has added to its audit, deal advisory and tax services in Manchester after promoting five long-standing members of its team to partner.
Gill Hopwood-Bell has been promoted to audit partner following 17 years in the field.
Roger Nixon has also become audit partner while Joe Manning is promoted to partner in the infrastructure advisor group following nine years with the firm.
Lizzie Meadowcroft becomes partner in KPMG’s Deal Advisory Strategy Group and the firm’s Manchester tax and legal division has made Phil Roper partner.
Cluttons
Cluttons has recruited Alan Watson as a partner in project and building consultancy in its Manchester office.
Mr Watson joins from Avison Young where he worked for 10 years specialising in office design and space planning, large project management, dilapidations and contract management.
Cluttons’ Manchester office has trebled in size since it opened in 2021 with eight commercial experts, recent additions include Kevin Scully as head of valuation covering the North East and Chris Severs as partner in business rates.
Ultimate Products
Oldham-based Ultimate Products has appointed Tracy Carroll to the role of brand director.
She joins from Helen of Troy, an American designer, developer and marketer of consumer brands, where she served as associate marketing director.
She will be Ultimate Products’ first dedicated brand director, a role that will see her lead the Group’s brand and marketing strategy, management, and communications function.
Rugby League Commercial
Rhodri Jones has been appointed the first managing director of Rugby League Commercial.
RL Commercial was set up in 2022, as part of the realignment agreed by the Rugby Football League and Super League Europe, to drive Rugby League's commercial development - which has included the launch of a 12-year strategic partnership with IMG.
Mr Jones, who has been the chief commercial officer of Super League Europe since 2018, will begin in the new role on January 1.
Somo Bridging
Specialist lending firm Somo Bridging has hired two new senior business development managers and a sales support administrator.
Nicola Hardy and Sarah Kirk ran a specialist finance brokerage together for five years before joining Somo.
Taybah Riaz also joins the 36-strong team at Somo as a sales support administrator.
Napthens
Commercial law firm Napthens has promoted corporate lawyer and legal director David Carr to partner at its Liverpool office.
Joining the firm as a senior associate in 2016, Mr Carr regularly advises local and national clients on a range of corporate work, including acquisitions and disposals, reorganisations, private equity and joint ventures.
He said: "I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the past six years at Napthens working alongside Gareth McIntegart and now Kieran, and have seen both our corporate department and the Liverpool office grow considerably in that time."
