Omarosa Manigault revealed what it was like working for President Donald Trump while in the "Big Brother" house _ and she said it's worse than everyone thinks.
The former director of communications for the White House Office of Public Liaison told Ross Matthews on "Big Brother" that things are bad _ and she was unable to ease his worries.
Manigault, 44, was fighting back tears in her dramatic telling of what went down during her time in the White House.
"I like to say not my problem, but I can't say that. It's bad," she said.
Matthews asked if we should be worried and she nodded.
"Don't say that. Because we are worried, but I need you to say it's going to be OK," Matthews responded.
"It's going to not be OK. It's not," she replied. "It's so bad."
She also told Matthews, a TV personality, that she was "haunted by tweets" every day that were sent out by the president and tried to stop him _ but daughter Ivanka Trump and son-in-law Jared Kushner, and others on his staff, wouldn't let her get in the way.
"All of the people around him attacked me, it was like 'keep her away from him,' 'don't give her access,' 'don't let her talk to him.' Ivanka's there, Jared's there," she told Matthews when he questioned if anyone ever tries to ask Trump what he's doing.
The full episode, where the former "Apprentice" contestant recounts working for Trump, was to air Thursday night on CBS.
Longtime "Big Brother" host Julie Chen previously said there was nothing in place stopping Manigault from speaking out about Trump. However, Chen did say she didn't think it would be likely.
"My theory is that she doesn't want to say too much because she wants people to buy her supposed book that she's working on. I'm like, 'Don't you want to tease something to the viewers?' I'm hoping she does," Chen told The Hollywood Reporter.
Manigault was brought on by Trump to join the White House staff at the start of his presidency in January 2017 and by December 2017, the White House announced her resignation.
She told Matthews that she took the position as a service to her country, not Trump himself.
