Olympic gymnast Karolina Sevastyanova hits back at trolls over picture with Conor McGregor

An Olympic gymnast has hit back at trolls after getting a picture with Conor McGregor.

Karolina Sevastyanova posed for a snap with the recently retired UFC star earlier this month when the Dubliner was holidaying in the south of France with his partner Dee Devlin.

The 2012 Olympic gold medalist shared the photo on Instagram, where it was liked more than 22,000 times, including by McGregor.

But a number of people negatively commented on the image, prompting Sevastyanova to respond.

She posted on her Instagram story: "Guys, stop asking me these questions!

It is possible that McGregor bumped into Sevastyanova in Monaco, where the 25-year-old is based.

The Notorious was also pictured with Charlene, Princess of Monaco and her husband Prince Albert II while on holiday.

It comes as the former two-weight UFC champion was invited to train with Real Madrid by Sergio Ramos.

hared a couple of clips on Instagram on Saturday asking Madrid captain Sergio Ramos for his opinion.

McGregor posted: "What do you think @sergioramos? We Are The Forge!"

The 'Forge' refers to the Black Forge Inn in Drimnagh who have recently set up a football team that McGregor has helped in getting off the ground.

The four-time Champions League and one-time World Cup winner replied, saying:  "Class, mate!

"More than welcome to join us anytime."

In one of the clips, McGregor plants a shot with the outside of his left foot into the bottom corner of the net.

He then scores a couple more goals with a sizeable crowd gathering to watch the former two-weight world champion.

McGregor played underage football growing up in Crumlin before turning his attention to mixed martial arts in his late teens. He also told before that he supports both Manchester United and Celtic.

Ramos himself had previous channelled his inner Conor McGregor when doing the Dubliner's iconic strutting walk after scoring a spectacular goal in training for Madrid.
