Olivia Wilde has reportedly been having a difficult time getting over former boyfriend Harry Styles lately.
Following their whirlwind romance and release of their film, Don't Worry Darling last year, they went separate ways. Singer Styles is currently wrapping up his world tour, but appears to be far from Wilde's mind at present.
The actress was recently seen out-and-about on a coffee date with a friend and despite recent rumours that Styles is rejecting her continued advances, she seemed to be totally unfazed.
In the streets of Los Angeles, she was seen wearing a casual striped tank top and baggy jeans. She dolled up the look with a simple gold necklace and tote.
It wasn't too long ago, though, that her outfit told a different story.
In June, Wilde was spotted wearing what appeared to be Styles's old t-shirt seven months after their breakup. The tee is merchandise of record label Space Fruity Records which is based out of Beijing, Japan. Fans had actually spotted Styles in the same shirt at an Ariana Grande concert in 2019. If it is the same shirt then this hardly screams "over it."
According to Heat Magazine, a source says that Wilde "won't take no for an answer" and its frustrating Styles. All of Olivia's "yearning" is really making Styles feel like he "dodged a bullet." Apparently, he "likes his freedom" which would obviously be super important with the tour lifestyle that he lives.
Even though this conflict is reportedly happening behind the scenes now, a source told Page Six that the initial breakup was mutual. The source said: "It's impossible to have a relationship when he's in every continent next year and Olivia has her job and kids."
While this may be true, PEOPLE reported that Wilde wasn't keen on the breakup and wanted to work through their issues.
Other than coffee dates, Wilde does have other commitments. After all, she is a mum to two. Plus, she's been going through a pretty litigious divorce that comes with a custody battle and financial strain. Wilde has also been making her normal professional appearances at fashion shows and red carpets.
Perhaps most importantly, she has her next gig lined up. She'll be directing a television adaptation of A Visit from the Goon Squad, according to IndieWire. Plus, it looks like she'll be working on an upcoming Marvel movie.
Styles does, in fact, play Starfox in the canon Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The Mirror has reached out to Wilde and Styles's teams for comment. Styles declined to comment.
