Olivia Wilde celebrates her 39th birthday by unveiling 'tramp stamp' tattoo

Olivia Wilde celebrated her 39th birthday in style and said she's "feeling fine" after revealing her "tramp stamp" tattoo.

The film director took to Instagram to thank fans for their birthday wishes as she shared a picture of herself relaxing in a bikini, with a dragon tattoo sitting pride and place on her bum.

In the snap, Olivia wore a tiny white swimsuit and faced away from the camera as she let her wavy hair flow down her back.

Despite her birthday taking place almost two weeks ago, Olivia said she has been "milking" the celebrations.

"39 and feeling fine. Thanks for the birthday love. I milked it for way too long and it's been great. Here's to whatever's next.

"Probably not another tramp stamp but who knows. #shameless #howdareshe #thehorror," she captioned the post.

For fans wondering when the actress found the time to rush out and get the dragon tattoo, Olivia has actually had the ink for 26 years.

Olivia has previously admitted she got the tattoo when she was just 13 years old and said it put her in the "bad tattoo club".

During an interview with Craig Ferguson in 2017, she said: "I have a bad-tattoo club if you want to be in it.

"I have a tattoo of a dragon that I got when I was 13. I was in New York City. I thought it was a great idea. [Dragons] had a lot of meaning at the time, but now it's hideous."

Olivia has several other tattoos which she's proud to show off.

The filmmaker has the names of her two children - Daisy, six, and Otis, eight, - tattooed on her, as well as delicate illustrations representing their star signs.

It seems like she could also be getting ready to add yet another to her collection.

Sharing a selfie with Jennifer Coolidge on social media, Olivia joked she was "moving this pic to the grid and then to a chest tattoo most likely".

Fans urged her to "do it" with one person saying the idea is a "good call".
