Grimes just clocked her ex Elon Musk in the best way, and I’m here for it. Her not-so-subtle swipe at Musk — who is desperate to go to space — took place when she praised Olivia Rodrigo’s recent comments about red flags and dating.
“This is a very oddly specific question that I ask guys on first dates: I always ask them if they think that they would want to go to space,” Olivia said during an interview for Netflix.
“And if they say yes, I don’t date them.”
The reason why? She reckons guys who want to go to space are a red flag for being “a little too full of yourself”.
“I think it’s just weird,” she added.

After Olivia’s quote about space was picked up by the popular X (formerly Twitter) account Pop Crave, Grimes replied. On the Musk-owned platform, no less!
“It’s true,” Grimes said. “Only women should be going to space.”

This isn’t the first time Grimes has shaded Tesla billionaire Musk, who she’s been in a custody battle with this year. In September, she posed proudly on top of a Porsche.
“I think I will join my sons in their heretical worship of the combustion engine,” she joked, a reference to Musk’s hatred of any vehicles that aren’t EVs.

Grimes and Musk dated on and off between 2018 to 2022, and have three children together: X Æ A-Xii, Techno Mechanicus and Exa Dark Sideræl.
Guess Grimes is gonna take a leaf out of Rodrigo’s book and ask the space question when dating from now on! Could’ve saved her a world of pain.
