Olivia Newton-John's daughter Chloe Lattanzi breaks down as she speaks of her mother's legacy

Olivia Newton-John 's daughter Chloe Lattanzi was visibly emotional as she talked about her mother's legacy on live TV.

The pretty blonde broke down in tears as she talked about her late mother's annual Walk for Wellness cancer fundraising event as it hit the streets of Melbourne over the weekend.

The singer was unable to attend the walk herself but watched via video link as she joined Nine's Richard Wilkins live from her home in Santa Barbara.

Chloe, 36, visibly teared up as she discussed the turnout and admitted she was taking time out to grieve for her mum.

She said: "It's so beautiful to see how many people have come out in support of my mum.

"John [Easterling] and I are there in spirit. But we just needed to take some time to grieve."

The walk - which benefits the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness & Research Centre - saw hundreds take to the streets to fundraise for the facility.

Discussing the services offered by the healthcare space Chloe admitted the importance of the centre for her mother and described how it gave her a sense of purpose in her life.

She said: "This was her heart. This was what she lived for. She saw the benefits of holistic treatments and acupuncture and music therapy."

Chloe later apologised for becoming emotional during the interview and heaped praise on her mother for being an "angel."

She added: "She is an angel. She was absolutely magical. All she wanted to do was good in the world."

Grease star Olivia died in August after battling metastatic breast cancer since 2017.

The four-time Grammy award winner was previously diagnosed with primary breast cancer in 1992 and in 2013, with the cancer returning and spreading to her spine in 2017.

She publicly battled the disease and spoke about her use of cannabis oil to ease her pain from lesions in her bones.

Chloe owns a cannabis farm in Oregon and her mother regularly voiced her support for the use of medical cannabis.

Last month it was revealed that Chloe had married her fiancé James Driscoll "years ago"' in a secret ceremony which was officiated by her late mother.

Chloe recently admitted on Instagram that she has dissolved her fillers and plans to have her boob job reversed.

Addressing her 145,000 followers, the actress said: "It's an ongoing process, I've had the fillers removed from my face.

"When I had it done, I had body dysmorphia so I had very low self-esteem."

She went on to discuss the removal of her breast implants adding: "When I had my breasts done I had very low self-esteem. I also wasn't aware, I trusted anyone in a white coat and I wasn't aware that there was any side effects or consequences.

"I'm actually looking into removing them, it does cost a lot of money."
