Olivia Bowen has said she is “so lucky” she got pregnant within two months of trying for a baby.
The former Love Island contestant, who found love on the ITV show and is now married to co-star Alex Bowen, announced she was expecting her first child in January.
Speaking to New magazine about their pregnancy journey, 28-year-old Olivia said: “We were actually only trying for a couple of months.
“So we are so, so grateful and so, so lucky to be able to conceive that quickly.”
But one thing the pair won’t be finding out before their bundle of joy arrives is the sex of the baby.

Olivia added: “We’re keeping the sex a secret. We just feel that there aren’t many genuine surprises in life, so to leave that right to the last minute will be really exciting.”
The reality star admitted she “always knew” she wanted to be a mum and said it felt like a natural “next step” for her and Alex.
While the couple plan to share the next stage of their lives with their fans as they become parents, they are yet to decide if their baby will grow up in the public eye.
Olivia said her and Alex, 30, they would make the decision once the baby arrives depending on “how they feel”.
The couple, who have been together since meeting on Love Island in 2016, recently went on a babymoon to Tenerife.
In snaps shared to Instagram, Olivia proudly showed off her growing baby bump in an orange bikini.
She captioned the post “Babymooning” as she praised husband Alex – who she tied the knot with in 2018 – for his photography skills.
In another shot, Olivia held a glass of coca cola on her tummy and wrote: “Coke in a wine glass. Living.”
Alex and Olivia also shared a loved-up photo of themselves kissing from their hotel pool.
“Mine always,” Olivia wrote, adding: “The last photo is really the reality of trying to get a photo on self-timer.”
The couple announced their happy news on New Year’s Day with a series of photographs, including one of Alex kissing her bump and a pair of baby booties.
Olivia recently shared their baby will be due in June and has been giving some advice to other expecting mums.
She said: “Any ladies in their early pregnancy or even later stages, if you're feeling like you're flapping & anxious don't worry! I felt so helpless & it passed!"
Adding "hormones don't help", she continued: "Just take comfort in knowing I did not feel maternal whatsoever & now I just feel so excited & at peace with it which sounds weird but I was so anxious, now I just feel calm!
"Calm before the storm maybe! You got this!"
She went on to say that she didn't properly start showing until the four or five month mark, and added that every woman's body is different.
