Olivia Bowen nervous to see body look different' during pregnancy

Olivia Bowen confessed she was ‘nervous to see my body look different’ during pregnancy.

Former Love Island stars Olivia and Alex Bowen confirmed the exciting news in January, and the 28-year-old has given her fans and followers regular updates on her pregnancy journey.

The couple met on the ITV2 dating show in 2016, and tied the knot two years later, before announcing they were set to become first-time parents in a sweet reveal earlier this year.

Olivia has previously candidly spoken about her feelings towards her changing body, and in a new interview with OK!, she said the weight gain doesn’t faze her, but she has been working out.

"I can’t say I’m not completely bothered about changing – I’m nervous to see my body look different. But above all, I’m just happy to be pregnant,” Olivia said.

The reality star said she feels “lucky” in that she’s been able to remain active during her pregnancy, and still feels “quite fit”.

Olivia acknowledged there are other women who have struggled with their body changing, and said worrying “about my body seems so irrelevant”.

“It would feel selfish. I’ve got a personal trainer for a husband, so hopefully he’ll whip me into shape later on!” she laughed.

Olivia and Alex revealed the news they were expecting a baby on New Year’s Day, and she said she was “shocked” by how excited she is to become a mum.

“I never envisioned myself as a mum, even saying the word ‘mum’ sounds so weird to me. But I’ve found myself enthralled by buggies and baby grows. I just want to know everything!” she admitted, as she said they’ve decided not to find out about the gender of their unborn baby.

Alex said they spoke with other parents who advised them to wait to find out if their baby was a boy or a girl until they were born.

“With everyone we spoke to about this, the ones that didn’t find out their baby’s gender until the day said it was the best decision ever. And the ones that found out early wish they’d waited. So we wanted to keep it all a big surprise,” he explained.

While Olivia is impressed they’ve managed to wait this long, because they’re both “quite impatient people”.
