Olivia Bowen has revealed she suffers from "really bad anxiety" and has felt "overwhelmed" since giving birth to her son Abel.
The Love Island star welcomed her first baby with husband Alex Bowen on June 12 and took to Instagram on Monday (July 4) to share a candid post about her mental health.
Writing on her Stories, Olivia, 28, said: "Won't lie guys I've had some harddd days last week & today. Some real bad anxiety last week & just so overtired & overwhelmed today.
"I had some amazing days too though, and that's the thing - you get good ones & you get hard ones" (sic).
Olivia added she can't believe her son is a month old on Friday.
She said: "I just looked back at photos and the way he has changed so much already it's scary quick!!!
"I feel like time just runs away with you & im so scared to miss any moment I feel like I can't take enough photos. I also feel like a hot mess haha.
"It's a mad journey that's for sure" (sic).
She later shared a second post and thanked fans for their kind messages.
The reality star said: "It really comes in waves!
"Thanks for all your messages — I know a lot on social media can look picture perfect & I just feel like making a conscious effort to let you guys know you're not alone in that.
"Sometimes I see new mums smashing it out in London or looking fire & I'll be having a bad day & I'll be like s**t I should be doing that!"
She added: "Just know for every good day there is equally a harder one that doesn't make it!"
Olivia and Alex, 30, met on Love Island in 2016 and were crowned the runners-up.
Olivia has been open about her son's challenging birth, telling followers: "After everything else, I ended up having an episiotomy with my forcep delivery in the theatre.
"It wasn't how I imagined, but we were so grateful he was just out safely."
Since giving birth to Abel, Olivia has described him as her "everything" and Alex told fans on Instagram their lives have "changed for the better".
