Olivia Attwood stuns fans with hot pink glam as she hints at 'silver lining' after leaving ITV I'm A Celebrity

Olivia Attwood left fans gutted after she was forced to leave I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here early, but the Love Island star has now hinted at a 'silver lining' after her shock exit from the ITV show. The TV personality was set to live amongst stars such as pop icon Boy George, MP Matt Hancock and Coronation Street star Sue Cleaver in the Australian jungle for up to three weeks, but her time was suddenly cut short.

The 31-year-old model and influencer made her debut on the show on Sunday, November 6 during the launch episode where she took part in a skydive alongside radio DJ Chris Moyles as well as taking on her first group trial. But just 24 hours after appearing on screen, Olivia was forced to exit the camp due to a medical scare.

Rumours began to speculate after Ant and Dec revealed that the TV star would not be re-entering the jungle, but last week Olivia set the record straight. The Love Island contestant, who came third place in the third series of the ITV dating show, revealed a concerning blood test result meant she had to leave the show, adding that she was 'so scared.'

The test, which all the contestants undergo randomly throughout the show, showed that the star was anaemic and that she had low sodium and potassium levels, leading staff to immediately take her to hospital.

Olivia told the Mail On Sunday : “I was so scared, I was like: ‘What the hell is wrong with me?’ They couldn’t give me an answer, they just told me that they had to get me to the hospital immediately.

“The results were really, really low when they put them into their reader and they consulted with another doctor off-site. I had those bloods done in England before I left, and they were fine. I was confused and of course very, very worried.”

However, when the tests were repeated in the hospital they came back normal, according to Attwood. The reality TV star was then taken to a hotel to sleep while ITV decided whether she could re-enter the camp.

She added: “They said because of the results the show’s medical team got from my readings, they were not happy to sign me off to come back in, even though I had the clean bill of health from the hospital. If I went back into camp, they feared my levels might drop and it could be detrimental to my health and wellbeing.”

She said ITV was not “willing to authorise my return and therefore I wasn’t insured” before adding she was “absolutely devastated”. On landing back in the UK she had more blood tests, which again came back fine.

Despite having an unexpected gap in her diary, the star has now unveiled she is looking onwards and upwards whilst teasing her next TV venture.

Olivia, who lives in Manchester, stepped out for the ITV Palooza event cutting a glam figure in a hot pink suit as she revealed a silver lining.

Earlier this year, prior to her I'm A Celebrity appearance, the reality star's very own documentary Getting Filthy Rich aired on ITV2 where the former glamour model explored the uncharted world of selling sex online.

During her attendance at the ITV Palooza, Olivia revealed that fans can expect another series of the documentary on their screens soon.

Taking to her Instagram story alongside a picture of her striking pink outfit, she said: "Headed to the ITV Palooza event, which obviously I wasn't supposed to be here for.... lol but was quite nice because there was a little presentation about my shows coming up this year... (silver lining)."

In another story the star then shared a glimpse of a clip from her upcoming show with the caption 'coming soon'.

Olivia then shared a photo reunited with her fiancéand Blackburn Rovers footballer Bradley Dack as she wrote: "Met up with my cherub after. Jesus he's put a shift in the last month. What a boy."

Appearing on This Morning last week to discuss her I'm A Celeb departure, Olivia told Holly and Phil: “I’ve been a big fan of the show all my life, and those conversations about joining the jungle happened when I left Love Island the first year, so it’s been like five years in the making…and it was the first time they’ve put someone from the show on there.

"I think when you come off reality shows, you get a huge opportunity, and I’ve done amazing things, but also, I think you can be put in a box and I was looking forward to showing a different side to myself. I am not a quitter, I am not scared of much, and I was just loving it. I was looking forward to having that exposure to a new audience."
