'Olivia Attwood's new show is timely documentary for celebs wanting fresh revenue stream'

There was a timely documentary on ITV2 this week for any public figures who might be looking for fresh revenue streams in the near future.

I mean, I'm sure Olivia Attwood, 31, didn't have the Johnsons in mind when she made Getting Filthy Rich, her eye-opening look at the potentially lucrative world of personalised online content provision.

However, if you want to keep yourself in the luxury fixtures and fittings to which you've become accustomed, then I guess them's the breaks.

The Love Island end of the market was more Olivia's target.

And yes, when I say personalised online content provision, I basically mean getting your kit off - male and female - for online subscribers.

That's where the big money appears to be, with one provider, Bonnie Locket, claiming to pocket up to £250,000 a month.

Bonnie had the shiny red Ferrari parked outside to prove it - and she certainly didn't seem daft enough to be spinning her income numbers on national TV where she might easily catch the eye of a taxman or two.

She sells full-on adult content though, with subscribers paying large amounts of money for private online shows.

When she revealed she could earn £500 for ten minutes of twerking in her underwear, it was hard not to think 'nice work if you can get it'.

She cited examples of celebs like Katie Price, who have made money through online platforms (Instagram/ @katieprice)

That was certainly the attitude of some of the university graduates Olivia interviewed, who are clearing debts and cleaning up online.

Even so, Olivia, who took part in Love Island in 2017, had heard it was possible to make money without going X-rated.

She cited the likes of Katie Price, Kerry Katona and former Hollyoaks star Sarah Jayne Dunn and wanted to explore that route for herself initially.

A few weeks in, she realised even the tamer stuff wasn't for her. However, she did admit she was intrigued by some of the higher-priced requests she'd been inundated with.

"Large amounts of money shouldn't change your moral compass," she said. "But in a weird way it does." We'll make a politician of you yet, Olivia.
