Olivia Attwood’s Love Island pal 'scared for her' after mysterious I’m A Celeb exit

Olivia Attwood 's best friend has insisted that her I’m A Celebrity exit is ‘scary and strange’ after more pals denied that she was pulled from the show because she broke the Covid bubble.

The 31-year-old reality TV star dramatically exited the jungle earlier this week but Olivia has yet to confirm exactly why she departed the show after just 24-hours.

Meanwhile, ITV has also yet to clarify what happened as baffled viewers continue to speculate.

Olivia was forced to sensationally quit her jungle experience after a medical issue.

Now, her close pal Georgia Harrison, who starred alongside Olivia on Love Island back in 2017, has said that she is devastated her friend following the shock drop out.

“I am literally devastated. It’s been really unnerving to watch the episode last night - it's my best friend and someone I really care about. So to not know what has happened, it's a bit scary," Georgia shared.

“She just disappeared - one minute she was there and one minute she was gone. Nobody knows why and I still don't know myself.

“It is one of the strangest situations I have ever seen unfold on television. It was so odd that nobody in the camp even acknowledged she had gone," the former Love Island star told The Sun.

Georgia's statement comes after claims last night said the Love Island star left the camp area for medical tests and this meant she broke the bubble and was unable to return.

However, pals of Olivia insisted the decision to remove her was a result of medical tests and nothing to do with her being out of the main camp.

A source close to Olivia said: "The show is very covid safe but the so-called bubble is not the same as it was in Wales last year for the show. The reports about covid are not true and not the reason Olivia was forced to leave the jungle."

The 31-year-old was happy and content on the show but concerns were raised by a member of the crew following a standard test that the celebs do behind the scenes during the series.

After further checks were made away from the jungle it was ITV's decision to remove Olivia from the show.

At the time a friend said: "Olivia was very keen to continue and was gutted when she was told that having left camp for tests she was not going back. Her I'm A Celebrity journey was only just beginning and she is devastated."

ITV declined to comment further on the claims a bubble was broken.

In ITV's original statement regarding Olivia's departure, it made no reference to covid. A spokesman said: "As a precautionary measure Olivia needed to leave the jungle to undergo some medical checks.

"Unfortunately, the medical team has advised it is not safe for Olivia to return to camp as there needs to be further investigation. She has been absolutely brilliant and she'll be very much missed on the show.”
