Olivia Attwood pokes fun at I'm A Celebrity in new post after early exit

Olivia Attwood's Instagram account has poked fun at her short time on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

The 31-year-old withdrew from the show on medical grounds, after just one day in the jungle. ITV said the former Love Island contestant has been told by the programme's medical team that it is not safe for her to return to camp.

Olivia became the first contestant to leave the show, which launched on Sunday night. A spokesman for the broadcaster said: "As a precautionary measure Olivia needed to leave the jungle to undergo some medical checks.

"Unfortunately the medical team has advised it is not safe for Olivia to return to camp as there needs to be a further investigation. She has been absolutely brilliant and she'll be very much missed on the show."

Since her departure, Olivia's team has posted various statements on her Instagram stage. One post shared on her Instagram story promised that fans would hear "the truth" from Olivia in due course.

The post read: "To say Olivia is heartbroken would be an understatement. She dreamed of doing 'I'm a Celeb' for years, and was absolutely loving every second of the show and throwing herself into jungle life feet first (just as we knew she would).

Olivia shared the popular meme on her Instagram account (Instagram)

"However, for reasons beyond her control her journey has been cut short. Your support and kind words have meant the absolute world to her, now as much as it always has.

"You will hear the truth from Olivia in due course and she will be back on your screens in the New Year."

But in the latest post on her account, which is still being looked after by Olivia's friends and family, reiterated how many fans felt about her early exit. She shared a meme of Charity Shop Sue which had the caption: "The way we've been robbed of Olivia Attwood annihilating Matt Hancock in less than a day."

Olivia reacted to the meme with one tears of joy emoji and a pleading face.
