Olivia Attwood fires parting shot at Matt Hancock as she speaks out over I'm A Celeb exit

Olivia Attwood fired a final shot at Matt Hancock as she broke her silence over her sudden I'm A Celebrity exit.

The former Love Island star was forced to head home after one episode due to medical reasons.

After her shock exit, the TV personality took to her Instagram to release a statement.

"To say Olivia it heartbroken would be an understatement," the statement read. "She dreamed of doing 'I'm A Celeb' for years and was absolutely loving every second of the show and throwing herself into jungle life feet first (just as we knew she would).

"However, for reasons beyond her control her journey has been cut short," the statement explained.

"Your support and kind words have meant the absolute world to her, now as much as it always has."

It added: "You will hear the truth from Olivia in due course and she will be back on your screens in the New Year."

Olivia ended the message with a quick jab at former MP Mr Hancock as a side note in the statement.

"Ps. Who's going to roast Matt Hancock now?!," it said.

The Tory MP shocked I'm A Celeb viewers when it was announced he would be joining the series.

Mr Hancock, 44, will reportedly net £400,000 for his ITV reality show stint Down Under alongside ’80s singer Boy George, 61, and former England rugby ace Mike Tindall, 44.

He will be making a donation to St Nicholas Hospice in Suffolk, and causes supporting dyslexia off the back of his appearance.

The MP has also said he will declare his I’m A Celeb earnings to Parliament to ensure transparency.

A source recently revealed that the Mr Hancock signed up for the show as he won't be 'welcomed back in Government again'.

"Everyone thought Matthew was set on getting his feet back under the table in the Cabinet Room so when news started circulating about his reality TV career it seemed like an idiotic decision," the source revealed.

"But he has now made it clear that he has no expectations about being welcomed back into the fold after everything that has happened.”
