Olivia and Alex Bowen have dished the dirt on the yearly competition between Love Island stars to nab the most lucrative contracts after the show finishes.
The couple know only too well the struggle of leaving the villa to ride a new found celebrity status in the real world, having gone through the process themselves in 2016.
Three years on and Olivia and Alex are releasing their own joint clothing range, but they admit they don't envy the 2019 stars in the current climate.
"It is so competitive now," said Olivia.
"They know that there are deals out there to be had. It automatically feels like you should get one if you're the winner or if you come second or whatever.
"Competition is natural because this is the industry," Olivia added. "You just have to carry on trying to stick to your path."
Alex agreed, "We didn't really know what were were going to get when we came out, I reckon there's a few this year that will be a lasting success.
"When you come outside that's the real test. People have different career paths and [relationships] can come under strain," he added.
"I think a lot of them will do really well," Olivia agreed. "Its mad we're still going this far on. We never thought we'd get our own TV show three years after Love Island happened.
"We're really grateful. It will never sink in."
This year's stars have been dogged by rumours of feuds, deliberate snubbing and even stealing each other's deals.
Maura Higgins was forced to defend her upcoming position on Dancing on Ice after winner Amber Gill was linked to the show first.
While there were also allegations Amy Hart was less than impressed when former love rival Maura was hired as This Morning's agony aunt just after she was invited to temporarily join the Loose Women panel.
Molly Mae Hague has failed to attend many of her villa chums' clothing launch nights and a girls' catch-up sleepover.
However, Anna Vakili spoke for many of her cos-stars last week when she called rumours of a rift between them 'fake news.'
But Love Island 2016 runners up Olivia and Alex are continuing to go from strength to strength.
After their fairytale wedding last October , the pair are now the stars of their own TLC reality series Happily Ever After and have launched their own clothing line Exempt Society.
"We're married, we work together and we've started our business together. But because we started out sharing the cameras it's just been a natural thing of us," said Olivia who insists there's no tension with them spending so much time together.
The Essex beauty recently caused a stir on Instagram with a stunning snap of her transformed into Barbie for
"It only took and hour and a half!" said Olivia. "I just can't believe the reaction to it." she added, revealing that many fans have since shared pictures of them recreating her look.
But the couple will be away when it is Halloween as they will be completing a trek in the Himalayas for charity at the end of the month.
"It's going to be a different Halloween for us! Maybe we could paint pumpkins on our faces to get in the spirit," said Liv.
"We'll be camping and I'm a bit scared of that to be honest," joked Alex.
