The bye week was a little too eventful for Minnesota Vikings backup offensive lineman Oli Udoh. While in a Miami nightclub on Saturday night, Udoh was arrested and charged with two misdemeanors, including resisting arrest without violence.
Udoh posted a $500 bond and pleaded not guilty. He also demanded a jury trial and indicated that he would be helpful in discovery.

The allegations against Udoh are that he was speaking to a young woman in a Miami nightclub and followed her into the bathroom. When he was asked to leave, he wouldn’t which prompted the arrest.
Through his lawyer, Udoh released a statement that saying that the allegations are “100% false” and that the woman has confirmed that.

If this statement proves to be true, Udoh should be cleared of all charges. The legal process will likely play out over the next few weeks and months, as a trial date has not been set at this point.
