Oleksandr Zinchenko has revealed Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola and Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta share an unrivalled passion for winning.
After earning his stripes as a coach under Guardiola at the Etihad Stadium, Arteta took on his first managerial role with Arsenal in 2019. Just over three years later, he has emerged as a serious title rival.
Holding a five-point advantage on his mentor with a game in hand, Arteta has pushed the Gunners to the summit this season alongside two former City players - Zinchenko and Gabriel Jesus - who he swooped in for during the summer transfer window.

Zinchenko spent four seasons with City and won the Premier League four times in that trophy-laden stint. He has helped the north Londoners scale dizzy new heights this season, as the Ukraine international looks to get one over his old teammates in the hunt for silverware.
It means the 26-year-old is as well-placed as anyone to compare the two managers. During an interview with VBET News, he said: "I knew Mikel since City and I always knew that he is an amazing manager.
"There are a lot of similarities between Arteta and Guardiola but, obviously, everyone is a bit different and still there is some difference between them as well. But the similarity is that both of them want to win every single game and that is the most important thing."
Zinchenko has played 17 matches for Arsenal since his €35million switch to the Emirates Stadium this summer. Before that, he totted up 128 appearances for City in all competitions with two goals and 12 assists.
