MANCHESTER CITY ace Oleksandr Zinchenko broke down in tears this evening as he thanked Scotland for their support during Ukraine's current situation.
Ukraine are still under Russian invasion, with attacks from Vladimir Putin's troops commencing back in May.
Wednesday night's World Cup play-off semi-final at Hampden will be the first time Ukraine have played in a competitive match since war started on their country.
Scenes of devastation have shocked the world over the past few months.
The winners of tomorrow's match will face Wales for a spot at Qatar 2022 this winter.
And Zinchenko was visibly emotional when looking ahead to the match.

Zinchenko said: "Firstly, I would like to extend my gratitude to the Scottish national team.
"To the coaching staff, to the players, to the whole lot of the Scottish people who provide Ukraine with this incredible help.
"I spoke with some of the players and coaching staff before and they expressed their feelings towards Ukraine for which we are very grateful.
"Secondly our mood, I would describe as a fighting mood.
"Everyone understands what is going on in Ukraine these days, what this situation is like on the ground.
"That's why I would say our motivation is definitely 100 per-cent to win."
