Shamrock Rovers stars Jack Byrne and Dan Cleary must have thought their eyes had deceived them when they bumped into Manchester United legend Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on the streets of Molde this afternoon.
The Irish Champions take on the Norwegian side in the UEFA Europa Conference League tomorrow night and have been in the country for the past few days. While the two Rovers lads were enjoying a stroll through the town during some down-time, the pair bumped into The Baby Faced Assassin getting off a boat.
The former Manchester United manager is no stranger to these parts of the world and has managed Molde in the past. During his two spells at the club, Solskjaer won a couple of league titles and the Norwegian Cup.

Solskjaer was also a player for Molde and played for the club for two seasons in the mid 90's. He then went on to join Manchester United in 1996 and quickly became adored by the Old Trafford crowd. His crowning glory as a player was undoubtedly when he scored the winning goal with the last kick of the game in the 1999 UEFA Champions League final.
For the second time in his career, Solskjaer left Molde for Manchester when he became United's interim manager in 2018. The role soon became permanent, with the 49-year-old finishing 3rd and 2nd in his two full seasons at the helm. He has been out of work since he was dismissed in November 2021 follow a wretched run of form.
Rovers travel to his former side in desperate need of a win to kickstart their campaign after a demoralising defeat to Gent last time out.
