Plans have been submitted for the construction of more than 100 new flats on the site of a former police station in Weetwood.
The site, located on Otley Road, will contain 127 new-build build-to-rent flats. Plans are currently being developed by Weetwood Developments Ltd alongside Quod Ltd and Halliday Clark Architects.
If the plans are successful, then the current buildings on the site will be demolished and replaced by an 'L' shaped building which will contain the 127 flats. There will also be 140 car parking bays, cycling storage, internal bin stores and access to green spaces.

According to the Design and Access statement, the site will also include a work from home space, which will sit in the lobby of the building. It will contain printers, 'acoustic meeting booths' and desk space.
The police station on the site has been vacant since 2020. Since then, it was temporarily occupied by Sister Productions who filmed a BBC drama at the station.
The developers said: "The proposals involve the redevelopment of the Site for a new residential community which will deliver 127 new high-quality homes, within the BtR sector.
"The Site represents a major brownfield redevelopment opportunity, unhindered by any insurmountable development constraints and in a highly sustainable location."
Now, the plans must be approved by Leeds City Council before they can be taken forward.
