Oklahoma State defensive lineman Tyler Lacy says he has a trio of visits scheduled ahead of the 2023 NFL Draft, including one with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Lacy said in an interview with Justin Melo of The Draft Network that he’s set to visit the Jaguars, Dallas Cowboys, and Cincinnati Bengals.
The 6’4, 279-pound lineman said that NFL teams have talked about him playing several different positions across the defensive line. With the Jaguars, Lacy would likely slot in as a defensive end, although it’s a team that loves versatility and the ability to move players around its front seven.
At the 2023 NFL Scouting Combine, Lacy ran a 5.11 40-yard dash with 30 bench press reps, a 28.5-inch vertical, and a 9’8″ broad jump. At Oklahoma State, he recorded 30 tackles for loss and 11.5 sacks.
Lacy is projected by most to be a Day 3 (rounds 4-7) selection.
Each NFL team is allowed to bring 30 players in for visits ahead of the draft. Tulane running back Tyjae Spears is also reportedly among the players being brought in for a visit by the Jaguars.
