The Oklahoma City Thunder announced on Tuesday that center Mike Muscala will be out for at least two weeks after fracturing his left pinky finger in Monday’s loss to the New York Knicks.
The Thunder will reevaluate Muscala in 14 days, which means he will miss at least the next seven games.
In 14 games with the Thunder this season, Muscala is averaging six points and 3.5 rebounds. After shooting 39.2% from 3 on 3.9 attempts in his first three seasons with the Thunder, Muscala is shooting 31.8% on 3.1 attempts this season.
Muscala — like most of the roster — has played spot rotation minutes, so it’s unknown how much this injury will shake up Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault’s rotation.
