OKC Thunder make offensive history with 134-91 win over Trail Blazers

Playing on the second night of a road back-to-back, the Oklahoma City Thunder avoided any potential hangover following their season-defining overtime win against the Golden State Warriors.

The Thunder shellacked the short-handed Portland Trail Blazers, 134-91, on Sunday. The 43-point win proved OKC wasn’t going to take its lowly opponent lightly.

The Thunder made some history with the lopsided win. OKC shot 61% from the field, a season-high 22-of-36 (61.1%) from 3 and went 14-of-14 from the free-throw line.

The historic offense production marked the first time a team finished with a 60-60-100 shooting night for a game in the last 25 years, per ESPN.

A pretty decisive performance that goes to show the Thunder might be one of the better teams in the Western Conference this season. OKC, which is on a five-game winning streak and 10-4, is in second place in the Western Conference standings 14 games into the season.
