If you thought we were all dodging a bullet with the Maryland game now being moved to the Noon ET slot on Fox and away from an exclusive stream on “Peacock,” think again.
That’s because the game time and network for the Purdue game was announced on Monday and it looks like “Peacock” will still get to show its feathers with the news that the OSU’s game against the Boilermakers will be streamed at Noon on Saturday, Oct. 14.
Buy Buckeyes TicketsThere will not be another option to catch this game, so you’ll have to either tap the shoulder of a friend or gathering that can dial up the game on NBC’s streaming service, pony up some cash for a membership, or find some sort of free trial to tune into the game.
The Ohio State football game at Purdue, Oct. 14, will be a 12 noon contest and it will be streamed on Peacock. Watch on internet connected Smart TVs, on your computer or phone. Visit https://t.co/P27Ab3IQeW.

And while trying to find a game on a streaming only subscription service won’t make Ohio State football fans happy, it could be worse. In fact, it’ll be Purdue’s third Peacock only game after its game vs. Illinois last Saturday, the contest against Iowa this coming Saturday, and then the hosting of Ohio State.
It’ll likely be the last and only game the Buckeyes appear on Peacock exclusively, but don’t be surprised if there is more of this in the future with the new television deal the Big Ten entered and with where consumption of sports and television in general is going.
