Ohio State men’s tennis player Justin Boulais has been named the Big Ten Men’s Tennis Athlete of the Week.
A senior, Boulais won seven matches last week without dropping a single set in helping the No. 1 ranked OSU men’s tennis team to four victories, including an ITA Kickoff Weekend title.
He picked up three singles wins as the No. 2 with wins over Toledo, Vanderbilt, and Boise State. He also took home three victories in the No. 2 doubles spot to help the Buckeyes set the tone by getting the doubles point straight out of the gate in all three matchups.
The recognition is Boulais’s second Big Ten Athlete of the Week honor. He also earned the award last year on Feb. 15.
On the season, Boulais is a combined 10-0 while leading the Buckeyes to six sweeps. As a team, the Buckeyes have been dominant, dropping just two sets in the six matches played.

The road gets pretty tough though this week. The Buckeyes will host No. 3 Virginia and No. 13 Wake Forest this weekend at the Ty Tucker Tennis Center.
