Ohio State offensive tackle Dawand Jones makes decision on NFL plans

Today was the day that college players with eligibility remaining needed to make their intentions known to enter the NFL draft. By and large, that day has come and gone with little news coming out of Ohio State, so take that for what it’s worth.

However, one bit of news that we did receive was a pretty big nugget. That’s because Dawand Jones, last season’s starter at right tackle made it known that he’ll be returning for the 2022 season and not entering the draft.

True to form, Jones, let everyone know in short and sweet comments on his Twitter account Monday. He may be soft-spoken to members of the media, but at 6-foot, 8-inches, and 360 pounds, getting him back to be one of the anchors of the offensive line is welcome news.
